In research methodology, researchers still debate on the usage of quantitative and qualitative methods. Each method has distinctive advantages and disadvantages and researchers need to decide an appropriate method for a specific research purpose.
Project Details
This research focuses on the use of quantitative and qualitative methods in airport safety research with three major objectives:
- To provide a comprehensive comparison between quantitative methods, qualitative methods, and mixed methods
- To review literature in airport safety and provide research method classification for these studies
- To evaluate the appropriateness and effectiveness of selected methods in those studies and recommend research methods for specific type of research in airport safety.
