Engineers Week 2026 a Success
Embry-Riddle Daytona Beach College of Engineering celebrated Engineers Week 2026 from February 23-27. The event was a celebration of innovation, collaboration and the future of engineering at Embry-Riddle.
From competitions and hands-on challenges to our keynote address, students had the opportunity to connect classroom knowledge with real-world application. Throughout the week, the event highlighted the creativity, resilience and leadership that define the next generation of engineers.

All Week:
- 8 a.m. ET: 11th Annual Digital Dash in the Lehman Building Atrium (open to students)
- 8 a.m.-8 p.m. ET: Online CATIA Competition via Canvas (open to students). Qualifiers open 2/15 and close 2/24.
- 8 a.m.-8 p.m. ET: Online MATLAB Competition via Canvas (open to students). Qualifiers open 2/15 and close 2/24.
Monday, Feb. 23:
- 9 a.m.-11 a.m. ET: Pancake Breakfast in the Lehman Atrium (open to students)
- 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. ET: Department Activities Fair in the Student Union Event Center 165A-C (open to students, alumni, faculty, and staff).
- 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. ET: Game Night with ERORA in the Henderson Welcome Center Duva Ballroom (open to students).
Tuesday, Feb. 24:
- 4:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. ET: College of Engineering Pie-A-Professor and Pie Eating Contest with NSBE in the Lehman Building Main Entrance Outside (open to students).
Wednesday, Feb. 25:
- 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. ET: Introduce a Girl to Engineering in the Henderson Welcome Center Duva Ballroom
- 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. ET: Costume Party with oSTEM in the Mori Hosseini Student Union Event Center A-C (open to students, alumni, faculty and staff).
Thursday, Feb. 26:
- 9 a.m.-3 p.m. ET: Student Club Displays in the Mori Hosseini Student Union (open to students, alumni, faculty and staff.)
- 11 a.m.-2 p.m. ET: Paper Airplane Contest vs. COA — REMATCH! with ERPL in the Mori Hosseini Student Union Event Center D-F. (Open to students).
- Noon-4 p.m. ET: LEGO Building Contest with AMRA in the Lehman Atrium (open to students).
- 6 p.m.-8 p.m.: CATIA and MATLAB Competition Final Round in the Lehman 132 room.
Friday, Feb. 27:
- 10 a.m.-2 p.m. ET: SARTEC Egg Drop in the Lehman Building- Main Entrance (open to students, alumni, faculty and staff).
- 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. ET: Chili Cookoff Competition with ERPL/ERFSEDS in the Lehman Atrium (open to students, faculty and staff).
- 5:30 p.m.-9 p.m. ET: COE Awards Dinner in the Henderson Welcome Center Duva Ballroom (open to students, faculty and staff).
