Applying to ·¡³¾²ú°ù²â‑R¾±»å»å±ô±ð as a First-Time Student
A first-time student is defined as one who will begin coursework following graduation from high school, regardless of dual enrollment credit earned.
Applicants include U.S. citizens and eligible residents (Daytona Beach, Prescott and Worldwide & Online campuses), and Singaporean citizens or permanent residents studying in Singapore (Asia Campus). International applicants (non-U.S. citizens for Daytona Beach, Prescott and Worldwide & Online campuses, or non-Singaporean citizens or permanent residents studying in Singapore for Asia Campus) should refer to our International Students admissions page.
Admissions Requirements
All first-time student applicants must meet the admissions requirements outlined below. These requirements apply across campuses unless otherwise noted. Some campuses or programs may have additional considerations, such as flight preparation, document submission methods or international evaluation requirements. You’ll find those details in each campus tab.
Admission is offered to students whose academic record demonstrates the ability to succeed and graduate from the University. When reviewing applications, ·¡³¾²ú°ù²â‑R¾±»å»å±ô±ð considers a holistic range of factors, including:
Overall academic performance
Grade point average (GPA)
Rigor of coursework
Class rank (if available)
Intended major
Letters of recommendation
Standardized test scores (if applicable)
Students who are admitted typically exceed the minimum admission requirements.
Admission criteria may vary by program. Be sure to check out our for full requirements. Technical programs, in particular, may require additional coursework, a higher GPA, supplemental documentation or other specific qualifications.
High School Coursework Expectations
Applicants are expected to complete the following coursework by the time of high school graduation, at a minimum:
English: 4 years
Mathematics: 3 years of college‑preparatory math (4 years preferred)
Social Science: 3 years
Science: 2 years, including at least one laboratory science (3 years preferred)

Special Considerations for Embry-Riddle Daytona Beach
All applicants to the Daytona Beach Campus follow ·¡³¾²ú°ù²â‑R¾±»å»å±ô±ð’s general admissions requirements. The details below outline additional considerations specific to Daytona Beach, including program-specific preparation and campus-based admissions processes.
Flight Students: Students who plan to take flight courses should view the Flight Department’s Pre-arrival checklist to prepare for these courses before arrival. Flight students must also present a copy of their FAA medical certificate before they may be enrolled in flight classes. Although medical certification is not required for admission, students are encouraged to begin the process of securing a class I or class II medical certificate as soon as possible in order to prepare for flight training.
Advanced Standing/Transfer Credit: Coursework you’ve completed via Cambridge AS/A Levels, Dual Enrollment, Advanced Placement (AP) or International Baccalaureate (IB) may be eligible for transfer credit. For credit to be awarded, test scores must be submitted to us from the testing agency and official college transcripts with final grades posted must be sent to us directly from the college for evaluation. We’ll also need a copy of your official final high school transcript reflecting graduation.
New students are eligible for admission at the beginning of the fall, spring and summer terms. High school students may apply at the end of their junior year. Applications received after the priority filing dates will be processed on a space-available basis.

Special Considerations for Embry-Riddle Worldwide & Online
All applicants to the Worldwide & Online Campus, including Europe campus, follow ·¡³¾²ú°ù²â‑R¾±»å»å±ô±ð’s general admissions requirements. The details below outline additional considerations specific to Worldwide & Online, including program-specific preparation and campus-based admissions processes.
Current high school students must demonstrate a minimum 2.5 unweighted high school GPA on a 4.0 scale for non-technical programs and a 3.0 unweighted high school GPA on a 4.0 scale for technical programs.
Note: Current high school students admitted to the Worldwide & Online Campus will be permitted to enroll in coursework no sooner than the July term of their graduation year. An official, final high school transcript with all grades posted demonstrating continued academic progress and graduation must be submitted to Embry-Riddle within the first term of enrollment. Worldwide & Online Campus students located in the state of California are required to submit an official, final high school transcript prior to enrolling in coursework.

All applicants to the Asia Campus follow ·¡³¾²ú°ù²â‑R¾±»å»å±ô±ð’s general admissions requirements. The details below outline additional considerations specific to Asia, including program-specific preparation and campus-based admissions processes.
All undergraduate applicants must have earned a U.S. high school/secondary school diploma or its international equivalent with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Applicants from Singapore can use the following international equivalents for guidance:
Two "A" level passes (minimum Grade D) and five "O" level passes (minimum Grade C); or
Polytechnic diploma in any discipline with a CGPA of 2.0 out of 4.0; or
IB Diploma with a cumulative of 30 points across six subjects.
Undergraduate applicants who already possess a bachelor's degree or have completed post-secondary school coursework from an accredited degree-granting institution must also have a 3.0 CGPA or higher.
High school/secondary school graduates are eligible for admission at the beginning of each academic term. High school/secondary school students may apply at the end of their junior (second-to-last) year.
Minimum age of 16 years old.
Applicants for whom English is not the primary language must meet the Minimum English Language Requirements:
Attain a minimum score on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) of 550 (paper-based) or 4 (internet-based).
Attain a minimum score on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) of 6.0.
Attain a minimum score on the Duolingo English Test of 105.
Attain a minimum score on the Cambridge English Language Assessment of 170.
Attain a minimum score on the EIKEN Test in Practical English Proficiency of Pre-1.
Earn transferable credit for a course that is the equivalent of ENGL 123 English Composition at an accredited postsecondary institution.
Display evidence of attendance and graduation from a secondary school in which the language of instruction was English.
For applicants with educational experience outside of Singapore, refer to our International Students admissions page. ·¡³¾²ú°ù²â‑R¾±»å»å±ô±ð requires that all international students (non-Singaporean citizen or permanent resident intending to study in person at the Singapore Campus) meet the university minimum requirements for admission. These requirements vary from country to country and each application to ·¡³¾²ú°ù²â‑R¾±»å»å±ô±ð is reviewed on an individual case-by-case basis.
Asia Campus Undergraduate Program Duration Options
Full-time: Full-time undergraduate degree programs are designed to be completed in 48 months; however, they can be considerably shorter when transfer credit is awarded. Courses are typically delivered face-to-face; however, some classes may be offered online or blended, mixing classroom and online learning. Full-time programs are suitable for both students residing in Singapore and international applicants.
Part-time: ERAU Asia welcomes working professionals looking to gain expertise, transition to a new role or seek a promotion to enroll in our part-time undergraduate programs. Part-time undergraduate degree programs are designed to be completed in 60 months; however, they can be considerably shorter when transfer credit is awarded. Courses are typically delivered in a blended modality, mixing classroom and online learning. Part-time programs are designed for students residing in Singapore, and international students cannot be issued a student pass for part-time learning.
Asia Campus Undergraduate Application Deadlines
Rolling admissions with four intakes per year — January, April, July, and October. Applications must be submitted online at least eight weeks before the start of your intended intake. Admission decisions are made on a rolling basis.

Yes. Daytona Beach and Prescott both have on-campus residence halls. On-campus housing is required for students at both residential campuses for 2 years or until they are 21. The Asia campus assists with local housing arrangements.
