Embry‑Riddle Service Centers, sometimes referred to as "recharge centers," are operating units created for the primary purpose of providing goods, services or a group of services to internal and external users within the university community. The center is managed as a self-supporting, break-even unit. Services may range from highly complex or specialized to standard support services. A service center is principally for academic use and sponsored research activity, and, when excess capacity exists, provides services to external users.
