The College of Business Worldwide delivers flexible, career-focused education designed for students balancing professional and personal commitments. American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE)

The American Association of Airport Executives is the largest professional organization for airport executives in the world, representing thousands of airport management personnel at public-use airports nationwide. AAAE's primary goal is to assist airport executives in fulfilling their responsibilities to the airports and communities they serve. AAAE membership is truly representative of airport management throughout the country. It places equal emphasis on large and small airport concerns, reflecting a membership composed of executives from large and medium-sized airports, as well as hundreds of managers from smaller airports used exclusively by general aviation or commuter airlines.

College of Business Student Council (CBSC)

The College of Business Student Council is comprised of students selected for their leadership, hard work, outstanding academic accomplishments and dedication to the College of Business. Student Council members provide the communication conduit between the student body and the faculty/staff to enhance the effectiveness of the college. One of the core pillars of the council's mission is to cultivate leadership skills among its members. By participating in these leadership roles and accepting the responsibilities of the organization, students have the chance to refine their decision-making, communication and collaboration abilities.

National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS)

The National Society of Leadership and Success is the largest and only accredited leadership honor society in the nation, with more than 800 chapters and over 1.9 million members. With a flexible online curriculum, the NSLS is perfect for all students, especially those who are balancing full course loads with families and full-time jobs. Throughout the program, students hone valuable, in-demand skill sets that hiring managers specifically look for, including leadership, relationship-building, goal-setting and effective communication.

SAP Student Recognition Award

Overview

With supply chains around the world under more scrutiny than ever, the Embry‑Riddle Worldwide Campus College of Business can offer opportunities for students to distinguish themselves as leaders in this vital, complex and fast-growing career field. Embry‑Riddle’s membership in the allows students to earn a Student Recognition Award from , a global company that specializes in enterprise resource planning to create networks that provide transparency, resiliency and sustainability across supply chains.

Details

The partnership recognizes students who successfully complete three SAP-infused courses by presenting a certificate that will help them stand out to potential employers. Completing this trio of classes ensures that those who receive the certificates are well-versed in how integrated processes work within business and how logistics impact systems and operations, and also understand how to analyze and use data to make better business decisions.

Requirements
Undergraduate

Undergraduate students who take the following three courses, earning a C grade or higher, will be eligible for the SAP Student Recognition Award: LGMT 236 - Principles of Procurement Management; LGMT 400 - Business Process Integration; and LGMT 430 - Business Process Configuration.

Graduate

Graduate students who take the following three courses, earning a B grade or higher, will be eligible for the SAP Student Recognition Award: LGMT 540 - Procurement for Logistics Managers; LGMT 600 - Enterprise Process Integration, using SAP S/4 HANA; and LGMT 630 - Enterprise Process Configuration, using SAP S/4 HANA.

The SAP Recognition Award is built into the Bachelor of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and the Master of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management programs. For students not in one of these programs, please contact your advisor to see how you might incorporate the courses into your current program. After successfully completing the certificate requirement, students can fill out the to request the award.
