To be considered for admission into a master's program at Embry-Riddle, all applicants must have earned a baccalaureate degree from an accredited degree-granting institution.
Applicants include U.S. citizens and eligible residents (Daytona Beach, Prescott and Worldwide & Online campuses), and Singaporean citizens or permanent residents studying in Singapore (Asia Campus). International applicants (non-U.S. citizens for Daytona Beach, Prescott and Worldwide & Online campuses, or non-Singaporean citizens or permanent residents studying in Singapore for Asia Campus) should refer to our International Students admissions page.

Applicants for whom English is not the primary language must meet the Minimum English Language Requirements:
Attain a minimum score on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) of 550 (paper-based) or 4 (internet-based).
Attain a minimum score on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) of 6.0.
Attain a minimum score on the Duolingo English Test of 105.
Attain a minimum score on the Cambridge English Language Assessment of 170.
Attain a minimum score on the EIKEN Test in Practical English Proficiency of Pre-1.
Earn transferable credit for a course that is the equivalent of ENGL 123 English Composition at an accredited postsecondary institution.
Display evidence of attendance and graduation from a secondary school in which the language of instruction was English.

Embry‑Riddle requires that all international students (non-Singaporean citizen or permanent resident intending to study in person at the Singapore Campus) meet the university minimum requirements for admission. These requirements vary from country to country and each application to Embry‑Riddle is reviewed on an individual case-by-case basis.
Asia Campus Graduate Program Duration Options
Full-time: Full-time graduate degree programs are designed to be completed in 12 months. Courses are typically delivered face-to-face; however, some classes may be offered online or blended, mixing classroom and online learning. Full-time programs are suitable for both students residing in Singapore and international applicants.
Part-time: ERAU Asia welcomes working professionals looking to gain expertise, transition to a new role or seek a promotion to enroll in our part-time graduate programs. Part-time graduate degree programs are designed to be completed in 24 months. Courses are typically delivered in a blended modality, mixing classroom and online learning. Part-time programs are designed for students residing in Singapore, except for students studying at the Singapore Aviation Academy, which only requires a series of short-term residency sessions in Singapore.
Asia Campus Graduate Application Deadlines
Rolling admissions with four intakes per year — January, April, July, and October. Applications must be submitted online at least eight weeks before the start of your intended intake. Admission decisions are made on a rolling basis.

Most master's programs can be completed in 12 to 24 months, depending on your enrollment status and course load. Full-time residential students typically finish in 12 to 18 months. Part-time and online students typically finish in 18 to 24 months. Worldwide's nine-week term format allows motivated students to accelerate their timeline by taking courses in consecutive terms.
Yes. Many of our graduate students are working professionals. Worldwide online programs are specifically designed for this — asynchronous coursework means you can study on your schedule. Residential programs at Daytona Beach and Prescott offer evening, hybrid and part-time options for students who need flexibility.
Not always. Some programs accept students from a range of undergraduate backgrounds, particularly the MBA, project management and human factors programs. Others — like aerospace engineering or computer science — require specific prerequisite coursework. If you're missing prerequisites, some programs offer bridge courses or conditional admission to help you get up to speed. Check your intended program for details.
It depends on the campus and program. Most Worldwide online programs do not require standardized tests. Daytona Beach and Prescott require them for some programs but offer waivers for applicants with significant professional experience or strong academic records. Embry-Riddle undergraduates applying through accelerated pathways are also typically waived. Contact your program for the current policy.
Yes. Embry-Riddle accepts up to 12 graduate credits from regionally accredited institutions toward a master's degree. Credits must be from courses with a grade of B or better, must align with your program's curriculum and must not have been used to satisfy another degree. Worldwide offers rolling admissions year-round with multiple start dates — apply at least 30 days before your intended start. Yes. International students are welcome at all campuses. Additional requirements include English proficiency test scores (TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo), credential evaluation of international transcripts through a NACES-approved service and proof of financial support for visa sponsorship at residential campuses.
