The Worldwide & Online Department of Mathematics, Science and Technology prepares students to think critically, analyze data and solve problems across industries. Where Our Graduates Excel

Graduates are prepared to turn data into insight, design solutions to complex problems working in high demand fields. The Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts the job outlook for data scientists to grow at 34% (much faster than the average) during 2024 - 34, and graduates will find opportunities in fields such as aviation, aerospace, technology and government.

Program Spotlight

Fall H-STEM Series Highlights Intersections of Art, Culture and STEM

The Worldwide & Online College of Arts & Sciences Humanistic STEM Speaker Series featured a virtual presentation by South African artist and filmmaker Ralph Ziman, creator of The MiG-21 Project. The event examined Ziman’s large-scale beaded reconstruction of a Cold War MiG-21 fighter jet and highlighted his collaboration with Southern African artisans to transform an artifact of conflict into a work of cultural reflection.
