Why wait? Earn both your bachelor's and master's degrees in less time. Embry-Riddle offers three pathways to accelerate your graduate education — accelerated programs, Fast Track and combined degree pathways — across Daytona Beach, Prescott and Worldwide & Online.
Each works a little differently, but all share the same goal: reduce the total time and cost to earn both degrees.
Combined Program Pathways
Formally structured 4+1 programs where the bachelor's and master's curricula are pre-mapped together. Earn both degrees in approximately five years. Available at Daytona Beach, Prescott and Worldwide & Online.
Accelerated Programs
Begin graduate-level coursework while still completing your bachelor's degree. You can earn a B.S. in one field and an M.S. in another. Available at Daytona Beach and Prescott.
Fast Track
A Daytona Beach admissions pathway that allows students who have earned a bachelor's degree from Embry-Riddle to simplify the admission process for select master's programs. Each program has its own GPA, credit hour and documentation requirements.
Applying to Embry-Riddle's Bachelor's-to-Master's Programs
Accelerated and combined program applicants must meet both undergraduate standing requirements and graduate admissions criteria. Because you're applying to a graduate program while still completing your bachelor's degree, there are a few additional benchmarks beyond standard graduate admission.
Admissions Requirements
Admission criteria may vary by program and campus. Find specific details for each program in the campus tabs and view the for full program requirements.
The admission and enrollment process varies by campus. Please submit only one application to Embry‑Riddle. If you’re still deciding which campus is right for you, our staff can provide guidance and help you update or resubmit your application if needed.

The university gave me confidence and fueled my passion with knowledge. In aviation, I’ve seen how powerful knowledge is in overcoming challenges and gaining an edge. Through real-world problem solving, I’ve learned that I don’t need to know all the answers. I just need to be confident in facing the unexpected.â€

Frequently Asked Questions for Bachelor's to Master's Applicants
Looking for quick answers? Start here. These frequently asked questions cover the topics we're asked about most often, and reach out if you need additional support.
Choose an accelerated program if: You're at DB or Prescott, have 75+ credit hours and a 3.0+ CGPA, and want to begin graduate coursework through the Graduate Admissions office. Good for students who may want to cross disciplines (B.S. in one field, M.S. in another).
Choose Fast Track if: You're at Daytona Beach and want to enter a specific master's program through your program coordinator. Ideal when your target program has a defined Fast Track entry process.
Choose a combined pathway if: You want a structured 4+1 plan where the entire bachelor's-to-master's curriculum is mapped out for you. Available at all three campuses. Best for students who know early that they want to pursue a master's in the same or a closely related field.
Not sure? Meet with your academic advisor — they can help you determine which pathway fits your goals, timeline, and campus.
Yes, particularly through accelerated programs. The accelerated pathway is designed to allow crossing disciplines (for example, a B.S. in Engineering and an M.S. in Business Administration). Combined pathways tend to pair related fields, but some cross-discipline combinations exist. Check the program listings for your campus.
Yes. Several combined pathways are already structured across campuses; for example, a Prescott B.S. paired with a Daytona Beach or Worldwide M.S. You can also use accelerated programs or Fast Track to transition between campuses. Coordinate with advisors at both campuses to ensure credits transfer correctly.
Up to 12 graduate credits can count toward both your bachelor's and master's degrees, depending on your program and pathway. This typically saves one full semester (or more) of graduate study.
Yes. For accelerated programs, apply through the Graduate Admissions office. For Fast Track, apply through your program coordinator. For combined pathways, the application process varies by campus — some are integrated into your undergraduate enrollment, while others require a separate graduate application during your junior or senior year.
Yes. Military tuition assistance, GI Bill benefits and Yellow Ribbon program funds can be applied to graduate coursework taken through any of these pathways. Contact the Military and Veterans Affairs Office for guidance on benefits coordination between your undergraduate and graduate programs.
