Financial Aid Opportunities
Understanding how much your Embry-Riddle education will cost is an important part of your college decision process. Depending on which Embry-Riddle option you choose, the costs you need to consider may include tuition, room and board, books, living expenses, campus fees, course and lab fees, flight fees, and transportation to and from your home.
Because your circumstances are unique, the availability of scholarships varies from student to student. Our staff can explain your options and guide you through the application process. Keep in mind that standardized test scores may be required for scholarship consideration.
Opportunities for Students
The following opportunities are available only to students at the Daytona Beach, Florida, and Prescott, Arizona, campuses.Embry‑Riddle Aeronautical University Student Scholarship consideration is given to all types of applicants — including freshmen, transfer, international and graduate students — who apply for admission and who submit an international scholarship application. The scholarship decision is based on academic merit and demonstrated financial need.
An official score from the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) or the American College Test (ACT) is required for consideration. The award amount can be significant if the applicant performs well on either of these examinations.
Assistantships are available to accepted graduate students who hold full graduate status and have a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher. A graduate assistantship is a contract between the student and the department providing the assistantship position. Candidates will carry out responsibilities related to teaching, administration or research in exchange for a tuition waiver and/or stipend. For further information, please contact the Office of International and Graduate Admissions.

All students are eligible for opportunities with companies that are leaders in their field. Further information about these opportunities — and the minimum criteria for eligibility — is available through the office of Career Services at your campus.
There are limited on-campus jobs available to you, and they are offered to all students on a competitive basis.
While these positions are restricted, you are eligible to apply for them when they open. However, since on-campus jobs are not guaranteed, you should not include them in your financial planning to cover the cost of attendance at the university.
Embry-Riddle offers a payment plan that allows you to make up to four monthly installments each semester for your out-of-pocket expenses. Your invoice balance can be split into a maximum of four payments, depending on when you enroll in the plan.
An enrollment fee is added to your first payment, which you pay along with your first installment upon enrollment. Enrollment in the plan is pending approval from the Student Financial Services Office. You will receive a monthly email reminder about your upcoming payment.
You may enroll in a payment plan for each semester you are registered; plans are available online 30 days before the start of each semester.
Any student whose tuition and fees are covered by a third party (such as a foreign embassy) is recognized as a sponsored student. Formal arrangements for sponsor payments should be coordinated with the Cashier’s Office.
