Cloud computing has been proven to have numerous benefits for organizations, especially in supply chain management. More and more organizations have adopted cloud-based solutions to be their primary sourcing applications.

Nevertheless, this technology is not without challenges and in order to implement cloud-based solutions successfully organizations need to have practical guidance on this emerging technology.This research focuses mainly on the application of cloud computing in supply chain management with two three objectives:
- to discuss major benefits and challenges of using cloud computing to enhance supply chain management
- to develop and test a structured model that examines the impact of major influential factors on the success of cloud-based supply chain performance
- to provide organizations with recommended strategies to successfully implement cloud- based solutions in supply chain management.
