In addition to preparing a new edition of his book Critical Issues in Homeland Security (Routledge), Dr. Ramsay is actively contributing to the advancement of intelligence education frameworks. The evolving threat landscape—marked by complex, transnational challenges such as artificial intelligence, public health crises, and climate change—has strained traditional analytic approaches and highlighted the need for enhanced strategic foresight among intelligence professionals.
Project Details
In response, Dr. Ramsay is collaborating with the International Association for Intelligence Education (IAFIE.org) to lead am international initiative aimed at developing a standardized educational framework and clearly defined student learning outcomes for intelligence education. This effort seeks to foster greater consistency in intelligence training across nations, ultimately strengthening professional standards, improving interoperability, and building a more agile and capable intelligence workforce for the future.
