Housed in the Department of Human Factors, Safety and Social Sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences, the B.S. in Safety Management provides comprehensive training on safe work practices, inspections and regulatory compliance. You'll learn to develop and enforce strict policies and procedures to prevent workplace accidents, injuries and illnesses.
The Safety Management program is a Qualified Academic Program (QAP), meeting rigorous standards and offering a curriculum aligned with the designation.
Graduates are awarded the , putting them on the path toward certification.
They can also apply for the credential through the , streamlining the path to the accredited certification.
The bachelor's degree in Safety Management is an approved Category I – Air University Associate-to-Baccalaureate Cooperative (AU-ABC) degree.
