Designed to produce professionals who are skilled in providing safety management expertise along with technical guidance in compliance involving the Federal Aviation Administration, Environmental Protection Agency, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Department of Transportation, industrial hygiene and workplace standards, you will be well-prepared for careers in aviation, transportation and more.

Offered at the Daytona Beach Campus
At Embry-Riddle, you won't just sit in classrooms. You will gain expertise in aviation safety, following federal regulations and standards, and you will tackle real-world safety challenges in places such as the Aerospace Forensics Lab, also known as the Crash Lab.
Housed in the Applied Aviation Sciences Department, the Bachelor of Science in Aviation and Aerospace Safety is based on industry needs. You will be prepared to provide safety and health expertise in a variety of settings, along with technical guidance related to regulatory compliance, industrial hygiene, human factors and workplace standards.
This program meets Board of Certified Safety Professionals Qualified Academic Program standards. Upon graduation, you will be awarded the Graduate Safety Practitioner designation. The Graduate Safety Practitioner designation provides a fast-track path toward the Certified Safety Professional certification by waiving the requirement to sit for, and pass, the Associate Safety Professional examination.
