Arguably the most influential individual to walk this earth was Jesus of Nazareth. Christians argue Jesus was, and is, the epitome of leadership and His example is to be followed in every aspect of one's life, including leadership.
Project Details
Given Christ and the Bible as the ultimate authority in how people should proceed with their lives, DellaVecchio and Winston (2004) developed a motivational gifts instrument that had implications for person-job fit and other positive outcomes including job satisfaction and job performance in a variety of settings (McPherson, 2008; Tomlinson & Winston, 2011; Earnhardt, 2011; Tomlinson, 2012). Given this background, this study provides a background to the Romans 12 motivational gifts research and proposes the seven gifts Paul described in Romans 12 will serve as a model for modern-day Christians in their pursuit of Spiritual Authority (Castleberry, 2004), ‘Christlikeness' (Foster, 1998), and leadership excellence.
