The Finance, Analytics and Risk Management (FAR) Lab is a dedicated facility within the Daytona Beach David B. O’Maley College of Business designed to advance educational and research initiatives in finance, analytics, risk management and related business disciplines.

The lab provides students and faculty with access to a wide range of commercial databases, advanced analytical platforms, visualization tools and specialized software for business modeling and analysis.

The FAR Lab plays a critical role in supporting both undergraduate and graduate coursework, serving as a core resource for classes that require data-driven analysis, financial modeling, simulation and decision-making under uncertainty. In addition to supporting instruction, the lab facilitates faculty-led research by offering infrastructure for data access, computational modeling and applied analytics.

• 30 high-performance laptop computers
• Large wall-mounted monitors with the capability to project content from individual workstations
• Specialized databases covering aviation, aviation finance, airlines, airports and general business domains
• Two servers with remote desktop capabilities
• Project meeting space
