The Cyber Gym Makerspace is a training facility in the College of Business, Security and Intelligence (CBSI) located in the Glen A. Doherty building on the Prescott campus.
It is a collaborative workspace to enhance the multi-disciplinary skills, capabilities and knowledge of our cyber students. Students are given access to a variety of tools, equipment and resources, and together with their faculty mentors they experiment, innovate and work on do-it-yourself (DIY) projects.
Faculty members are enabled to explore innovative hands-on teaching methods and advance their research. The Cyber Gym Makerspace helps the university to showcase its talent and capabilities to the industry and establish valuable partnerships.
Equipment
- Deep learning server to support research in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity
- Flight simulator to enhance cyber awareness and readiness of pilots
- Avionics cyber testbench to train students in avionics and assess cyber threats on aircraft systems
