This is one of the most interesting and dynamic labs in the AXFAB facility. Its main purpose is to allow students to use the Unholtz-Dickey two-axis electromagnetic shaker table to simulate the vibrational environment of a space launch. Once students in the program have prepared their satellite, rover or other space hardware, they can use the equipment to see if it would survive the structural loads and vibrations encountered during a launch.
