The AMS hangar has numerous functional engines from Lycoming, TCM, Austro and Pratt & Whitney, as well as test stands equipped with instrumentation.
Additionally, the lab has an ACES system Probalancer Model 2020 for use with dynamic balance and spectrum analysis for propellers.
