Dr. Dahai Liu is currently a professor specializing in system engineering modeling and simulation, human factors engineering, human-system integration and artificial intelligence in Aviation. Dr. Liu has over 100 scholarly works, including books, journal articles, book chapters, conference proceedings and technical reports. He has led and collaborated on numerous research and consulting projects funded by prominent organizations such as NASA, the Office of Naval Research (ONR), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT).
Dr. Liu earned his Ph.D. in Industrial and Management Systems Engineering from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and his M.E. in Systems Engineering and B.E. in Management Information Systems, both from Tsinghua University, China. He is a senior member of both the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE).
