Dr. Yanir Maidenberg received his bachelor of engineering from The Cooper Union and his Ph.D. from Columbia University, both in the field of chemical engineering. He was a research scientist at Unilever, where he worked on Dove soap formulations, micellar water makeup removers and other personal care products.
He has been teaching since 2014 in the fields of chemical engineering, materials science, physics and chemistry. Prior to joining Embry-Riddle, he worked at NYU Tandon School of Engineering leading the senior chemical and biomolecular engineering capstone design course as well as serving as undergraduate academic adviser and conducting other coursework. Furtheremore, Dr. Maidenberg has taught a variety of courses at The City University of New York, The Cooper Union, Manhattan College and Stevens Institute of Technology.
Dr. Maidenberg is currently serving as the Engineering Physics Undergraduate Program Coordinator and as the COAS Building and Safety Compliance Coordinator.
Dr. Maidenberg's research interests include nanoparticle thermodynamics, interfacial science and polymer technology with a keen interest in environmental applications.
