Troy Henderson

Overview

Dr. Troy Henderson is an Associate Professor of Aerospace Engineering. He graduated from Texas A&M with a Ph.D. and Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering. His research interests include spacecraft dynamics and control and space systems, as well as optical navigation systems. He has current funded research in optical navigation for lunar landing, and in orbit estimation using optical and RF signals.. He is a reviewer for IEEE and AIAA journals, in addition to several others. Dr. Henderson has held an Assistant Professor position with Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA, worked in industry, and researched asteroid mitigation techniques at the University of Glasgow in Glasgow, UK.

Dr. Troy Henderson is an Assistant Professor of Aerospace  Engineering after graduating from Texas A&M with a Ph.D. and Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering. His research interests include spacecraft dynamics and control and space systems. In addition, he has current funded research in optical navigation and orbit debris. He is also a reviewer for IEEE Aerospace Engineering Optimization and International Journal of Aerospace Engineering, in additional to several others. Dr. Henderson has held an Assistant Professor position with Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA and worked in industry.
