Ryan Castle

Overview

Mr. Castle has a B.S. (University of Central Florida) in applied mathematics, an M.S. (Oregon State University) in mathematics and college mathematics education and an M.Sc. in astrophysics (James Cook University). He has been teaching mathematics, statistics and astronomy for 30 years, in both traditional classrooms and online. His main areas of interest are differential equations (their numerical solution in particular, as well as the history of their development in the 18th century), data science and mathematical ecology. He has also worked in medical software development and education administration.
