Dr. Becky Lutte is Chair of the Worldwide Department of Aeronautics, Associate Professor, and a member of the leadership team of the ERAU Boeing Center for Aviation and Aerospace Safety. Her research includes topics such as safety policy, sustainability, online course delivery and design, and a primary focus on aviation workforce development and the outreach, recruitment, and retention of women and underrepresented groups in aviation. She has over 35 publications in a variety of academic journals, magazines, and book submissions. Dr Lutte was appointed by the former Secretary of the DOT to the FAA Women in Aviation Advisory Board. She has given numerous presentations and interviews and has testified before the House and Senate on topics related to aviation workforce and women in aviation. Dr. Lutte is an active pilot and owner of an RV7 and RV10 homebuilt, experimental aircraft.
