He currently serves as an advisor to the Robotics Association at Embry-Riddle, which competes in six different student robotics competitions spanning maritime, aerial, and ground domains including IGVC, SUAS, Roboboat, Robosub, NASA RMC, and Maritime RobotX. He is also the lead advisor for the DOE and GM sponsored ERAU EcoCAR 2, EcoCAR 3, EcoCAR Mobility Challenge, and EcoCAR EV Challenge hybrid vehicle development teams. His areas of expertise include unmanned systems development, hybrid systems development, system integration, and dynamic modeling and control.
