Dr. Nazir Laureano Gandur is a tenure-track assistant professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering within the College of Engineering at Embry-Riddle’s Prescott Campus. His work focuses on teaching and research in areas including uncertainty quantification, neural networks, aerospace systems, structural health diagnosis and prognosis, engineering design and orthopedic biomechanics.
Dr. Gandur earned a doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Tau Beta Pi.
