Lance McCuiston earned a Master of Aviation Science in Safety from ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy.

With over 34 years of experience teaching aviation, Lance has flown over 30 military and civilian aircraft types. A 23-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he primarily piloted the F-15 Eagle and served in multiple wars and combat zones, earning numerous awards, including the Combat Air Medal.

Following his military service, Lance spent nine years as a flight, simulator and academic instructor with Lockheed Martin and Huntington Ingalls Industries for the USAF. He has also taught and mentored pilots and engineers around the globe, supporting Euro-NATO and other military commands in countries such as Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Afghanistan, Iraq, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Italy, France, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Spain and the United Kingdom.

Lance, an internationally experienced aviation professional, has pursued continuous military and civilian education and training for over three decades. He maintains his flight instructor certifications, volunteers at veteran events, and supports aviation community programs. Passionate about mentoring the next generation, Lance devotes his time guiding youth in aviation, athletics and life.
