I have more than 18 years of experience in an academic environment. Â I was awarded my Ph.D. in Geophysics from the University of Houston, and my M.Sc. in Geological Sciences from the University of Kentucky-Lexington. I am a Licensed Professional Geoscientist in Texas. I am a member of SEG, AGU, AAPG.
I have joined ERAU in 2024. I taught at the University of Pittsburgh (Bradford), California State University (Bakersfield), New Mexico Institute of Technology, Southern New Hampshire University, and Texas A&M International.
I have published 40 papers and abstracts in geophysics, geology, and petroleum engineering and presented at many SEG, AGU, and other society meetings. My best-known contribution is in seismic anisotropy, mathematical inversion, and enhancement.
