b) Outstanding Performance/Award: Recipient of National Women of Color (WOC) STEM Conference Technology Rising Star 2015.
c) Winning team of Data Challenge team in NAVAIR: Volunteered the data challenge project supported by the NAVAIR in 2016. Continue writing a paper for later recommendations for Navy decision makers.
Leading volunteered Data Challenge 2 project team at NAWCTSD and building a visualization tool using Qlik Sense taught by myself.
I spent a lot of weekends in tackling and learning new skills for both volunteered projects. Both projects help me spending up for my navy career. For example, I understand better how the Navy maintenance and supply chain management works.
d) Ph.D. Dissertation research focused on: manpower cost estimation using System Dynamic Modeling to identify the Total Ownership Cost (TOC) and the relationship between technology adoption and training cost for the United States Navy DDG51 ship class. The implementation will reduce training costs 4.5% overall by 2025. The model is applicable to other platforms where manpower and technology innovation interact.
e) Recipient of research fellowships from the Institute for Simulation and Training, and the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management Systems while in attendance at University of Central Florida.
