Dimitrios Siskos holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting Studies from Alexander Technological Institute of Thessaloniki, a Master of Science in Project Management from the City University of Seattleand a Doctorate in Finance from the Swiss Management Center (SMCU) inSwitzerland. Prior to his academic career, he worked for 20 years as a finance and accounting specialist in the industry sector.
Dimitrios Siskos specializesin finance, accountingand business, with a particular focus on financial statement analysis, finance and accounting for decision-makingand business venture evaluations. His knowledge enables him to interpret complex financial data and provide insightful evaluations of a company's value, accounting for factors that influence its financial health and market position. Recently, his publications have focused on aviation finance, airport managementand regional air transport systems. He iscurrently working onwriting a chapter for a book on the sustainable development of the Caribbean Aviation sector, securing an internal grant, researching insourcing vs. outsourcing in aviation, serving as a co-editor for a special issue, mentoring studentsand co-writing a new paper onaviation finance in small jurisdictions.
