Dr. Kilic is an Assistant Professor at ²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ. He is the director of Space Robotics and Generative Estimation (SRGE) Lab. His research focuses on state estimation for space robotics. His work includes cooperative localization, perception, planning and robot-terrain interactions. He earned a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from West Virginia University with a focus on localization for Mars and moon rovers. He is a past recipient of the Fulbright Scholarship, Statler Fellowship and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory JVSRP Fellowship. He holds an M.Sc. in Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering and a B.Sc. in Astronautical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, where contributions were made to CubeSat and CanSat projects.
