Overview

Dr Lim was the Founder/Group Chairman of CESAR Group Pte Ltd which was a holding company for investment and portfolio management since 1998 to 2023. He was the Adjunct Professor of Management with the University of Canberra (2003-2009). He was also the Research Chair for Center for Enterprises Strategic Auditing Research (2019 to 2023) that involved evidence-based practice approach of auditing, researching, interpreting and drawing conclusions about the soundness and competitive position of firms in different industries. 

Currently, Dr Lim is the Executive President of the Association of Certified Strategic Auditors (an official partner of the United Nations Sustainable Develop Goals #SGD Action 34005). Dr Lim is now serving as an adjunct faculty as Professor of Business with ²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ (Worldwide and Asia) where he joined in 2012. Dr Lim is also a Foreign Investment Policy Advisor with a China and ASEAN law firm which provides advisory in the fields of operationalising investment vehicles, transactional processes that facilitate regulatory-compliant deal-making, and business forensic analysis. He is appointed to the United Nations as Volunteer for peace and development. Dr Lim  publishes quite widely, and his papers have been accepted by many journals and conferences in areas of corporate governance, entrepreneurship and innovation, and system thinking. In addition, he has involved in course development for various universities at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
