About Jacob

Jacob Pritchard represents Embry-Riddle’s Worldwide Campus.

Originally from Wisconsin, Jacob is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a senior studying Homeland Security and Business Technical Management, with a major in Information Security and a minor in Management. An accelerated master’s student, he will finish his M.S. in Human Security and Resilience in 2027.

In his role as delegate, Jacob draws from his experience in student governance and his extracurricular involvement. He is the current Worldwide Student Government Association (SGA) president and was the founding vice president of the National Society of Leadership and Success. He is also a member of the Worldwide College of Arts & Sciences Dean’s Student and Alumni Council, and he participates in C.A.R.E.E.R. Champions, Eagles in Service and the Entrepreneurs Club.

In addition to being a veteran, Jacob is an entrepreneur and a scholar committed to strengthening organizational resilience and security across sectors. He is the first Worldwide Campus student to complete the Research Scholars Program and is a member of the SALUTE Veterans National Honor Society and the Order of the Sword and Shield Honor Society.

“I see this as an opportunity to grow as a leader and further develop my ability to go from vision to reality,” he said of serving as SGA president and delegate, adding, “My goal is to represent the student population that elected me to the SGA with respect and honesty.”

In addition to his undergraduate studies, Jacob was an intern at the Orion Policy Institute, where he conducted research on the MS-13 criminal organization which resulted in publication with the group. In the future, he plans to establish a consulting firm focused on business continuity, risk management and policy development.

In his free time, Jacob enjoys spending time with his daughter.
